Nothing like the beach to give you a little "perspective."

Nothing like the beach to give you a little “perspective.”

Resently, I have been reading The Noticer by Andy Andrews. So far it has been interesting and so very truthful. Within the storyline a man, Jones, goes around helping people with their emotional problems, marriages, and even poverty. The Jones character says he has the gift of “perspective.” Perspective in this case means to think from all angles and see things a little differently.
Sometimes all we need is a little perspective. With perspective, a bad day might not seem so bad after all. Your everyday problems (such as friends, bosses, or maybe that stupid math test.) might look like another mountain to climb, but when you climb it you can look around and see the beautiful sky and the joy all around. I believe we all could use a little perspective from time to time. I challenge you to try to see everything a little differently- use a little perspective – this week and make the best of it. Below is an excert from The Noticer by Andy Andrews:

“I am a noticer,” he said. “I notice things that other people overlook. And you know, most of them are in plain sight.” The old man leaned back on his hands and cocked his head. “I notice things about situations and people that produce perspective. That’s what most folks lack- perspective- a broader view. So i give them that broader view… and it allows them to regroup, take a breath, and begin their lives again.”

Thank You, have a Good Weekend!!!
