Good-Bye Winter

March 4, 2013

snow on tree
Dear Winter,
You send cold shivers through my spine when you whisper through the bare trees. You tell birds to flee with one breath of your cool air. Making snow fall through your fingers, is your specialty. With every moment of your pure white snow falling, people all over jump for joy. Your frosty footsteps awake me in the dim morning light.
Oh, dear winter, how you must leave now. Even though the people of this town dearly love your chill in the streets, in your breath, and in your very being, Spring is near.
So farewell dear winter, may you have many happy returns to this little town.
