Book Tag

November 10, 2013

Okay, so I can’t take credit for this post, because it was not my idea. It’s actually another blogger’s idea. (His blog is The Little Engine That Couldn’t:
This little activity is called “Kiss, Marry, or Cliff?” Basically you pick three fictional books and three characters of the gender you’re attracted to. Then you say which of those three you would marry, kiss, or throw off a cliff.

Picture of Dorian Gray
My first pick is one of my favorite books, Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. The three characters I pick are Basil Hallward, Lord Henry Wotton, and Dorian Gray.
Kiss: Lord Henry Wotton, because, well, I don’t really know…
Marry: Basil Hallward because, he is artistic and just plain cool.
Cliff: Dorian Gray. Obviously that guy needs to be thrown off a cliff after indirectly killing his lover and killing his best friend too. (Spoiler alert.)

So Not Happening
My second choice is So Not Happening by Jenny B. Jones. The three main characters I pick are “Budge” Finely, Luke Sullivan, and Hunter Penbrook.
Marry: Luke Sullivan because, quite frankly, he is a hot soccer player that is the editor of the school newspaper. I’ll take that any day.
Kiss: Budge Finely because, he listens to screamo music, but his job is a little degrading. I mean wearing a hot dog on your head isn’t exactly the best job in the world.
Cliff: Hunter Penbrook because, any guy that cheats on his girl friend is a real “winner.”

The Hound of the Baskervilles
My last pick is The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Out of this book I choose Sherlock Holmes, Dr.Watson, and Stapleton.
Marry: Sherlock Holmes. He’s Sherlock Holmes, duh.
Kiss: Dr. Watson, because he did most of the dirty work in this novel…
Cliff: Stapleton, because he beat his wife and tied her up. He also terrorized the Baskervilles with an alleged “demon dog.” This guy needs to be thrown off a cliff.
So this is the end to my little Book Tag. Hope you enjoyed.
Pass it on!!!
