Sorry… Forgive Me?

November 23, 2013

Sorry I haven’t posted anything new in a while… I was nominated for the Liebster Award and I’m trying to finish it, and obviously it is taking me a while. So I figured I would entertain you with another post… So here goes nothing.
I finished my assigned reading of The Hobbit and I have some problems with it:
1. Bilbo Baggins didn’t even defeat the dragon Smaug (my favorite character), some random dude from the Lake killed him.
2. Bilbo didn’t engage in the final battle. He was knocked unconscious while he was watching the battle. What kind of hero is that?!
So, I don’t recommend this book. It bored me to death and it made me mad. End of story.
I can’t wait until The Book Thief comes out in theaters. I plan on bringing my whole family to go and see it. If you have not read the book yet, you need to make a point to read it. It will be worth it. Trust me. ( Don’t be surprised if you go into complete book hangover afterwards, because no book will compare to it for a while.)
So I think this is the end of my half blog post, because frankly I can’t think of anything else to write… So happy Dr.Who Day!

  1. While I still loved the Hobbit, I did think the end of Smaug was a really anti-climactic.

And I’m definitely going to use the catchphrase one day.

  2. I would definitely date anyone who used that pick-up line on me. It’s just too awesomely geeky to ignore.

Where did you find that quote? Love it! 😀
